Octagon

The Octagon is an 1800 square foot community center hall used for dances, parties, weddings, memorials, plays, music evenings, lectures, classes, workshops, fund raisers, school lunch cafeteria, winter and spring fairs, and a host of other events. It also serves as a Red Cross disaster center in case of community emergencies and has a fully licensed kitchen capable of serving large groups. Beginnings Octagon Rental Schedule:

Classes & Workshops: $1.00/person/hour include teacher, minimum $10

Meetings: Same as class rates unless larger attendance 30-50 people, small impact ie: presentation $75.00

Small Performances: Under 100 people $150-250 - with alcohol add $100.00

Large Benefit Events (Dinners & Boogies): $400 – with alcohol add $150.00 = $550

Weddings & Large Private Parties: $500.00 without alcohol; $650 with alcohol

Memorials: $150-300 ($75.00 if less than 50 people)

Outdoor Events: Negotiable...

Weekend Workshops (Day Only): $350; with kitchen $450
